Dallas roots since 2008
The business began in Dallas in 2008 as DFW AutoCAD. AU Design US now brings together drafting, existing-condition documentation, field capture and project visualization for residential and commercial projects.
Our focus is practical project support: helping clients and their project teams develop the drawings and documentation they need. AU Design US primarily serves Dallas–Fort Worth and surrounding North Texas.

How we work with you
Your inquiry, drafting coordination and review are handled through a consistent point of contact. We begin with your project goals and available information, then define the scope and coordinate the work around those requirements.

We identify the drawings, deliverables, field documentation and consultant information needed, then establish the scope of our work.

Develop and coordinate
We prepare the drawings, work through questions and coordinate relevant information from you and the professionals involved in the project.

Review and deliver
We review the work against the agreed scope, coordinate revisions as needed and deliver the agreed drawings and supporting files.
Working with engineers and consultants
When licensed engineering is required, it is provided by independent firms that you contract with directly. AU Design US can help connect you with an appropriate firm and coordinate its information within the drafting scope.
Construction is separate from our drafting and documentation services. Permit and Certificate of Occupancy decisions remain with the reviewing authority.
